Our Church

St. Peter’s Lutheran School is the primary mission of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

St. Peter’s Lutheran School has long been a vision of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church as a means of ministering to the needs of the church and the community. In 1990 a temporary School Board was given the task of presenting a proposal to the congregation to establish a Christian Day school and preschool. In May of 1992 the congregation of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church voted unanimously to begin planning for the school.

The connection between the church and the school is a valued relationship and necessary to the continued growth and Christian values of our school. The congregation is regularly involved in school events, it regularly receives updates of current school news and is invited to participate in volunteer opportunities. Many of our teachers, staff and students are members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
